Delete your Highway Taxi account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time. You do not need to contact us.
In the app
- Sign in to the Highway Taxi app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top corner of the screen.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Tick the confirmation box, tap Delete my account, then confirm.
On the web
Sign in and open the account deletion page directly:

Removed from the app immediately:
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo
- Your ID document scans
- The devices registered to receive your notifications
Kept for a limited period, with restricted access:
- A copy of your identity details and uploaded documents, so we can deal with safety disputes between drivers and passengers and respond to lawful requests from the authorities. It is not visible anywhere in the app and is not used for anything else.
Kept, with your personal details removed:
- Completed trips and payment records. These also belong to the other people on those trips, and we are required to retain them for legal and accounting purposes. They no longer identify you.
Deletion cannot be undone, and you are signed out on every device straight away. You are welcome to sign up again later with the same email address.
